Echinodorus Apart is obtained in the nursery of Hans Barth by crossing Echinodorus Portoalegrensis and Echinodorus Horemanii Red. It differs from its parent Echinodorus portoalegrensis in red-pink (depending on the conditions of keeping) color of a young leaf, the ability to grow at a higher water temperature (up to 28 ° C). The leaf plate is curved, but unlike Echinodorus portoalegrensis the top of the leaf does not bend to the surface of the soil.
Over time, the old leaves take on a dark green color. Under good conditions, it forms a rosette up to 40 cm in diameter. Nutrient-rich soil and medium light intensity are recommended for care.
Apart - means "separate", which is shown by this plant that scatters its leaves to the sides. It grows slowly. Flowering shoots reproduce extremely rarely. You can get a small number of plants by dividing the rhizome.
A rosette of hard, thick leaves of green to dark olive color with a relatively short petiole adorns any decorative aquarium.[2]
