Echinodorus cordifolius Tropica Marble Queen is a vigorous swamp plant, up to 50 cm tall, petiole long, submerged leaf blade initially lanceolate, 10 - 20 cm long and 2.5 - 5 cm wide, later narrow-ovate, with a cordate base, pointed It is ingrown, 15 - 20 cm long and 6 - 9 cm wide, with submerged care the spotting weakens so that in the end the pattern is no longer visible. The mottling is more pronounced in low light than in high light. Bright light stimulates the formation of anthocyanins, allowing young leaves to develop a rich reddish-brown bloom. This Echinodorus tends to form emergent leaves. Washed-out sand will do as a substrate.[1]
