Rosette with lanceolate leaves Plant color: greenish-red, red color of young leaves Additional: suitable for beginners, additional fertilization is recommended, medium lighting, strong lighting Description: Echinodorus Cryptodorus . - somehow it stands out from the series of hybrids of I. Filippov by its appearance. It does not resemble Cryptocoryne, as the name might suggest, but Cryptantus. Echinodorus Cryptodorus has many leaves and the old ones practically do not rot. The leaves are wavy and do not stand vertically or horizontally, but in a circle, forming a dense rosette. Its height depends on the conditions in the aquarium, usually does not exceed 20 cm and can grow even taller. The color depends on the lighting. According to the author, in average lighting, its color is golden green, similar to the color of Osiris. In bright light, a bright color of swirling leaves appears. Echinodorus Cryptodorus is a very original Echinodorus, it has no correspondence between European and Eastern hybrids.

Echinodorus Cryptodorus is characterized by a small, up to 20 cm in diameter, very multi-leaved rosette of hard leaves bent in a clockwise direction. Cryptodorus contains a large number of leaves. It looks decorative, rather compact, but only gives 2 - 3 daughter plants per year from the root.[1]
