Plant type: rosette with lanceolate leaves, wavy leaf margin Plant color: greenish-red Additional: suitable for beginners, additional fertilization is recommended, medium lighting, strong lighting Description: description from the words of the author: rather tall Echinodorus, lanceolate leaves, up to 35 cm long, petiole up to 20 cm long, dense and elastic. Most of the leaves are maroon, shiny and slightly wavy at the edges. The color of veins in the youngest leaf is creamy, in the older ones it is burgundy-brown, it stands out effectively. The oldest leaves are olive, solid color. Extremely hardy. Grows steadily, but not rapidly. It never comes out of the water. Reproduces as daughter plants on a flowering shoot that happens to be PCs. 5-6 and basal. Under certain conditions, such as the presence of a blue lamp, it may appear black. Amateurs who can make good-looking males out of such ordinary echis as Regina and Little Bear will do well with this.[1]
