By the way, the translation of the names of Echinodorus sold in China into Russian is usually completely meaningless, just as, for example, the names of many Russian hybrids, of the same I. Filippov, are simply meaningless to translate into another language. Translated is more or less only what was previously named with expectation of the English/Latin-speaking market. The market for aquarium plants in China is so large and self-sufficient that Latin and English are not used there at all. The same is true for aquarium fish. Only Chinese names are used.[1]
