Echinodorus Ogonek
Echinodorus Ogonek is an unknown variety that stands out due to its coloration and relatively small size. The leaves are narrow, ribbed and red-purple in color. It resembles Echinodorus florens, but in miniature size and with predominantly red coloration. I have not grown more than 30 cm, usually less. A worthy hybrid, recommended for small aquaria, grows well even under very modest conditions.
This cultivar was bred by a mutation of Echinodorus Pink. Flame in the aquarium looks very beautiful, the young leaves are red, which turn red-brown after a while, but the older leaves tend to green tones. The leaf shape is lanceolate with wavy edges. The shrub itself reaches a height of 30-40 cm and a width of 20-25 cm.
