Echinodorus Rainers Kitty is a small to medium-sized, rhizomatous plant. Underwater leaf lamina on short petiole, very narrow, elliptical, wine-red with dense mottling, older leaves greenish. The stems are covered with daughter plants. It is a fast-growing species that is also suitable for very small, well-lit aquaria. Undemanding. Also grows well in hard, alkaline water. Propagation by daughter plants on a flowering shoot[1]
