Water of medium hardness with a slightly acidic reaction. The root system is well developed, so a nutritious soil is required. With intense lighting the plant looks more impressive, the young leaf becomes brighter, more translucent, retains the painted leaves more, with a lack of light the leaves turn greenish faster.
Echinodorus Red Zora in the aquarium has broad lanceolate leaves. The leaf edges are wavy. The upper side of the leaf is red, with light green spots on the main color on the underside. Leaf veins from light green to white are clearly visible.[1]
