Foliage rosette Plant color: purple , suitable for aquaria from 50 cm, additional fertilization recommended, medium lighting, strong lighting Description: Echinodorus 'Sankt Elmsfeuer' is a cross between Echinodorus 'Großer Bär' and 'Ozelot'. The leaf blades are elongated, elliptical. Young leaves of a bright red-burgundy color have a light shade. Older leaves are olive green. Echinodorus 'Sankt Elmsfeuer' is an unpretentious plant, does not lose color even in moderate light, grows in both hard and alkaline water, only gets smaller. However, it prefers nutritious soil.[1][2]
