Echinodorus Six Soldo
Origin / Breeder : Igor Filippov, Tscheljabinsk
Fairly tall Echinodorus, lanceolate leaves, up to 35 cm long, petiole up to 20 cm long, dense and elastic. The majority of the leaves are dark burgundy red, glossy and slightly wavy at the edges. The color of the veins on the youngest leaves is creamy, on the older leaves it is burgundy-brown and stands out effectively. The oldest leaves are olive, unicolored. Extremely robust. Grows steadily, but not quickly. Never comes out of the water. Reproduces as daughter plants on a shoot that happens to be PC. 5-6 and basal. Under certain conditions, e.g. in the presence of a blue lamp, it can appear black. Amateurs who can make handsome men out of such ordinary Echinodorus as Regina and Little Bear will do well with this. Where several full-grown bushes grow side by side, twilight eyes are created.[1]
