This is a medium-sized Echinodorus, its height is approx. 30 cm and can grow much larger if kept well over a long period of time. The leaves are almost oval, light green with conspicuous veins. Lighter veins. A young leaf emerges with a colorful crimson net tip. But it doesn't last long. When the leaf is fully grown, only a barely perceptible edge of it remains. The conditions of Echinodorus 'Variatus' are not demanding, but welcome the introduction of trace elements into the water and the supply of carbon dioxide.
