Echinodorus Witin
A new cultivar developed by Grigory Glusenko from Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The leaves are light green, long, elliptical and stand on long petioles.
They are 8-12 cm long and 4-5 cm wide.
In strong light, the young leaves have a reddish coloration that contrasts beautifully with the light.
This contrasts nicely with the light veining. However, strong light is not required to grow this plant.
The plant is ideal for the middle of an aquarium and is one of the echinodors that do not have high light requirements.
Lighting requirements.
Don't forget to cut off the old leaves and fertilize the roots, e.g. with BIVOJ clay trophic balls.
