Echinodorus multiflorus Rataj
Synonym of: Echinodorus uruguayensis Arechav.
This name clearly refers to an artificial hybrid, but I have not been able to study any material representing this cultus. The original publication (Rataj 1989) refers to a specimen of cultivated origin in PR as the holotype, but later Rataj (2004: 96) denied the existence of a type collection and referred to unspecified photographs as the type material. It seems that the name currently lacks an effective typification.[1]
