Rosette with ribbon-like leaves Plant color: purple, red color of young leaves Additional: suitable for beginners, additional fertilization is recommended, medium lighting, strong lighting Description: Echinodorus Lisbon is noticeably larger than Echinodorus Madrid, although they are very similar. It is true, Echinodorus Lisbon is painted in darker tones. It seems that it does not live up to the keeping conditions, but it must first adapt to the conditions it is in. Accept them - grows actively, giving leaf after leaf. The leaves are oblong-lanceolate, pleasant burgundy with light veins. Although I. Filippov denies adding any chemicals to the water, Echinodorus Lisbon gratefully accepts the addition of micronutrient fertilizers. The color of the leaves, young and old, the frequency with which new leaves appear, and even flowering shoots are a response to additional feeding.

Echinodorus Lisbon has 5 - 6 burgundy leaves with light yellow veins. The petiole grows up to 15 cm long, the leaves are colored on both sides, under unfavorable conditions they turn brown, but the veins are even lighter. The leaves are thin and flexible in texture. Before shooting it rises above the water, after flowering it returns exhausted under the water. There are no problems with reproduction.[1]
